Fatemeh has long been inspired by the power of natural healing. This passion led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology at UBC and later complete her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver. She is a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC).
During her studies, Fatemeh developed a deep appreciation for the wisdom and effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Its holistic approach to the mind, body, and emotions continues to guide her practice, and she remains committed to providing care with precision, attentiveness, and compassion.
Early in her career, Fatemeh witnessed how transformative acupuncture can be for pain management. She advanced her training by becoming a Certified Balance Method Acupuncturist, a technique known for its rapid and often immediate results, even while patients are still on the table. This method continues to be a core part of her work, particularly for pain and internal medicine concerns.
She is also passionate about women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy care, and she has had the privilege of supporting many individuals and couples on their family-building journeys.
Ongoing learning remains a priority for Fatemeh. She is currently completing a two-year fellowship with Dr. Yvonne Farrell, DAOM, L.Ac., with a focus on the treatment of psycho-emotional conditions. She is dedicated to understanding how acupuncture can support mental and emotional well-being and help patients navigate life’s challenges with greater balance.
Her treatments often include acupuncture, cupping, ear seeds, electrostimulation, and nutritional guidance. Her goal is to create a calming, supportive environment, listen deeply to each patient’s needs, and tailor treatments so they leave feeling more relaxed, grounded, and closer to their optimal health.
Beyond her clinical practice, Fatemeh is honoured to serve on the Mayor’s Advisory Roundtable for the City of Port Coquitlam, contributing her wellness expertise to local initiatives. In her personal time, she enjoys cooking wholesome meals, staying active through walking and cycling, and spending time with her family.
